DJ Jeffaton going strong

If you talk with DJ
Jeffaton the first you wonder is how can a DJ with that kind of stammer
handle the mike.
Well , Jeffaton actually returned from Switzerland recently after a
three-week trip as guest of Rootsman Promotions, a Geneva-based promotor.
He opened for Virgin 2's act Ky-Many Marley at the Nouveau Palais in
Geneva on May 26 and did a number of interviews at local radio stations,
including Colour Three / Wareika, a reggae
friendly station in Geneva.
Jeffaton has already recorded two songs, Nuff girls Pon Mi Avenue and
Remix The Riches, both produced by Leopold Hall on his Los Angeles-based
Zodiac label.
He says that Hall decided to record him after hearing work the sets in the
Mountain View area where he used to live.
Now living in Harbour View, the young deejay go hooked up with Alan Finkel
of Rootsman Productions, while recording dub plates at Arrow's Studio,
Windward Road.
He praised DJ Power Man for guiding him so far: "Good youth that, clean
heart. Other DJs use the young artistes, but Power Man always inspired me
with, 'youth, yu mus'bust."
Jeffaton says he is looking forward to his return to Geneva in October,
which will be complemented with a tour of other European states including
Germany and Italy, he says his stammer never affects his performances
